Selected Free Materials

Jacqueline’s existing teaching materials are being reviewed for this collection. Selected downloads will appear here with their topic, level and a short explanation of how to use them. In the meantime, explore the lessons and study advice linked above.

Make Your Practice Count

Choose one skill at a time. A short, focused attempt gives you something concrete to improve.

1. Choose Your Focus

Start with a skill you find difficult: understanding a passage, explaining a writer’s choices or organising a paragraph. Check that any exam advice matches your course and paper.

2. Have a Go

Pause the lesson or put the advice beside you. Write a short response of your own and try the technique. Give yourself time to think before looking at an example.

3. Review and Try Again

Identify one thing that worked and one thing to improve. Rewrite a sentence or paragraph, then practise the same skill with a different question.
