Her principal subjects are Cambridge IGCSE English First Language, English Second Language and World Literature, plus Key Stage 3 / Cambridge Lower Secondary English. AQA and Edexcel GCSE support is secondary.
What ages does she work with?
Jacqueline has experience teaching students aged approximately 11–16. Please include the student’s year group and subject when enquiring.
How will live classes work?
Small-group online teaching is the principal offer. Groups of around 6–8 students and sessions of approximately 75 minutes are planned. The timetable and joining arrangements will be confirmed before booking.
What is her teaching approach?
Lessons are interactive and patient. Jacqueline breaks difficult skills into manageable steps, models examples and uses repeated practice and feedback. Students learn why an answer earns marks and can make mistakes without embarrassment.
Is one-to-one support available?
Jacqueline may offer limited one-to-one teaching alongside group programmes. Please enquire about availability.
What do classes and packs cost?
Prices have not been finalised. Confirmed prices and booking terms will be provided before you commit.
What is a Premium Resource Pack?
A substantial teaching product that may combine a presentation, workbook or study book, worked examples and structured practice. The contents and intended audience will be specified for each completed pack.
Can teachers buy the packs?
Yes, appropriate packs are intended for teachers as well as students and parents. Each listing will explain permitted classroom use. A separate teacher edition will only be created when it adds genuinely different material.
Can I buy masterclass materials separately?
Where an associated pack is available, it may be purchased independently of the live masterclass. Each listing will explain what is included.
Where can I find free support?
Visit the Free Learning Resources page for links to Thorogood English on YouTube and existing study advice. Selected downloadable resources will be added as they are completed.
Do I need to live in Malaysia?
No. The online offer is intended for Cambridge IGCSE learners and international families in the UK, Asia and beyond. Please include your time zone when asking about classes.
Are recordings, trial lessons and cancellation terms confirmed?
