A colleague of ours spent weeks — weeks — creating two hand-crafted stop-motion animations for children. Every single character was cut out by hand from coloured paper. Every frame was moved by hand, photographed, moved again, photographed again. Frame by frame by frame. The result is a gorgeous, utterly charming pair of animations about two cats who go on an adventure to Scotland.
These videos have seven views between them. Seven. They deserve seven thousand times that. Please watch them — and if you have children, grandchildren, or students who’d enjoy a beautifully made story about adventurous cats, show them too.
